IF YOU MISSED THE VMA'S YOU'VE MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE. Or you have a life? Debatable, and irrelevant. We've all got to give it up to the Queen*, and her redeeming* and adorable family moment on stage that brought gallons of tears to our eyes. That happened to you too, right? Most everything makes me cry so I have a hard time gauging what a normal level of tears is, I'm pretty confident that this was a tear worthy moment though. Beyonce has found a way to go from twerking on a stripper pole to smooching her two year old girl on stage in a matter of minutes with ease. We call that #FLAWLESS.
As they say, we all have the same number of hours in a day as Beyonce! So don't go making excuses over there. It's Monday morning and you've got a whole weeks ass to kick. Aside from the fact that Beyonce has someone to do her hair, her make-up, pick her clothes, buy her clothes, put her into her clothes, watch her baby, feed her baby, buy her baby Chanel, cook her food, spoon feed her her food, chew her food for her, drive her, fly her, wipe her ass and so on - we all have so much in common with her! No, no I don't really have all that much in common with my girl Bey, but I like to pretend that we can relate. We can't all be flawless, and the proof of that is in the red wine stains on a majority of the clothing that I wear on the weekends, but damn gurls, we can try! And boys, you got that beyonce in ya, Work. It. If you're not feeling as fierce as the Queen Bee herself, maybe you need a little pick me up to get on your A-game. So go to Target. You can literally buy happiness there.
Do what you've got to to get through the work week. Make plans to grab a drink with someone that you haven't caught up with in a while. Treat yourself to some online shopping on your lunch break. Do something nice for yourself, and find your inner 'Yonce. Hope that the week flys by for those of you not on vacay, I'll be thinkin' of ya...
